Americana Christmas sounds will be streaming your way on this Christmas Eve, after a long and arduous 2020. This week we’ll be sharing some new sounds but the primary theme will be holiday sounds. Lots of new holiday sounds, in fact. Tune in for some special yule tracks from Sierra Ferrell, Tami Neilson, and White Owl Red. We’ll also be sharing a few of those old chestnuts by the open fire from Springsteen, Los Lobos, and John Prine. As the year winds down, let me share a little nugget from The Bard, not Dylan, but Shakespeare:  “The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away.” And in these difficult times, if you have food on the table and you’re comfortable listening in leisure, remember that there are those who are losing their livelihoods, their shelter, and their food security. Give back and share; especially now, in this winter of our discontent.
