Texas vintage tracks this week including Waylon talking Bob Wills, Doug Sahm getting down with the Nitty Gritty, Duane Eddy’s twanging, and some sweet Cindy Walker pieces. The Wheel also finds their way in. Now, we won’t disappoint with the new Americana releases either as we’ve got new sounds from White Owl Red, The Mavericks, and Bruce Springsteen to light the way. Every Thursday morning features new tracks and vintage Americana on KOWS Community Radio direct from Sonoma County California, as we continue to get our legs under us from the fires that devastated the north county, making its way from the Geysers steam fields down through the vineyards of Alexander Valley. Our hears go out to those who lost everything and to those who were trapped in the anxiety of evacuation.
