After yet another bout of wildfires here in the North Bay, the resilience shows. Neighbors helping neighbors as we deal with the new normal brought on by climate change. Not forest management so much. But we are going to push on because that’s just what we do. We have new music here every Thursday morning and this morning promises the same with tracks from Raye Zaragoza, Amanda Shires, Jeremy Ivey, and Carolina Story…just for starters. Our vintage selections this week are full of the warmth, spice, and joy of the state of Louisiana; a state that’s been going through a climate challenge of their own with Gulf of Mexico hurricanes coming in one after the other this (early) season. We’ll hear some Fats, Smiley, K-Doe, Bobby Marchan and Rod Bernard in the show today.
