This week’s show features a collection of blues and soul infused sounds that are informed by city living from a point of poverty and social pains. That’s our vintage theme and we’ll have Bobby ‘Blue’ Bland, Elvis, Rodriguez, and Randy Newman to tell their stories. And wow…some great new sounds to complete the two hour festivities including new tracks from Chris Stapleton, Colter Wall, Patrick Sweany, and Black Pumas (who will cover the aforementioned Bobby ‘Blue’ Bland). Labor Day’s past us already and the color of the leaves on the trees are turning.
