We count down the top 25 Americana albums of the year and share them with you. While it may be too late to share as a stocking stuffer, it’s not too late to get out there and stock your library. The year featured some old hands showing the new ones how it’s done and some fresh perspectives from new artists with some songwriting and musical chops to bear witness to. Next year will bring more of the same and plenty of surprises (no doubt). KOWS Community Radio features the Americana Hours daily from 5 to 7am Pacific and Blue Moon rolls in on Thursdays at 9am Pacific to excavate just a little bit deeper.
