    First of all, I love your taste in music, and the work that you put into making your episodes informative.

    Back in the late 70s, I used to tape broadcasts from my local college radio station (WXPN in Philadelphia, before it became homogenized). “Some Velvet Morning” was on one of those tapes; I loved that song, how it alternated darkness and decadence with bubblegum psychedelia, but I had no idea who did it, until now. Thank you for (1) playing it, (2) announcing it, and (3) providing information about the genre and the blurb about the song. After 40 years, I’ve gotten some closure about this most interesting song.

      Thanks for your feedback. The reason I do this is constantly validated by emails and calls such as yours. The song was a perfect fit for my show that day and I’m glad someone else had the same reaction to it when they first heard it.
